3. Course Description (Mô tả tổng quan khóa học)
The course aims to enable students to use basic English effectively in 4 skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing at work and in education. Students are also prepared to pass A2 (KET Cambridge) English international tests.

On completion of this course, students will be able to use English as described below:
Speaking Skills (Kỹ năng Nói):
· Introduce themselves to people, count numbers and say the alphabet and spell people's names. · Introduce themselves to new people and talk about themselves. · Give an opinion about things and express likes and dislikes. · Ask for and give directions · Make arrangements in the future. · Order food and drink in a café. |
Listening Skills (Kỹ năng Nghe):
· Understand dialogues that describe who people are. · Understand people talking about free-time activities. · Understand talks giving opinions about school subjects. · Understand talks about clothes and descriptions of people. · Understand records / conversations about food and descriptions of cooking food. |

· Understand articles and use vocabulary for daily activities. · Understand vocabulary in context and follow a song and understand its lyrics. · Identify and make a note of useful vocabulary in a text. |

Phương pháp, hình thức kiểm tra - đánh giá kết quả học tập được mô tả chi tiết dưới đây:

A1. Đánh giá thường xuyên trực tuyến (KTTX TT) (Online Assessement) |

A1.1. Điểm trung bình cộng của tất cả các bài tập trong khóa học trên hệ thống online |
Học sinh làm bài tại nhà trên hệ thống online.
Điểm số sẽ hiển thị ngay sau khi kết thúc bài đánh giá trực tuyến để học sinh chủ động điều chỉnh phương pháp và thời lượng học.
Điểm số trên hệ thống sẽ được lưu và trích xuất, báo cáo lại cho bộ phận quản lý chất lượng trong vòng 02 tuần sau khi kết thúc buổi học cuối cùng. |

A2. Đánh giá thường xuyên tại lớp (KTTX) (In-class Assessement) |

Giáo viên cho điểm khi yêu cầu học sinh thực hiện các hoạt động (cá nhân / theo cặp) các kỹ năng nghe-nói-đọc-viết-luyện âm-ngữ pháp tại lớp. |
Điểm số đánh giá thường xuyên phải được công khai ngay sau khi giáo viên quyết định điểm cho hoạt động cụ thể tại lớp và ghi vào Sổ điểm thực hành (theo Mẫu).
Điểm kết luận là trung bình chung tất cả các cột điểm đánh giá học sinh thực hiện hoạt động tại lớp.
Mỗi học sinh phải có tối thiểu 10 cột điểm / năm học (Mỗi cột tương ứng với 01 lần cho điểm tại lớp).
Trong vòng 02 tuần kể từ khi kết thúc buổi dạy cuối cùng, giáo viên tổng hợp điểm và báo cáo cho bộ phận quản lý chất lượng đào tạo (theo Mẫu). |
A3. Dự án Viết (Writing Portfolio) |

Học sinh tập hợp tất cả các bài viết cuối mỗi đơn vị bài học (Unit) trong khóa học đã được hoàn thiện theo yêu cầu giáo viên/trợ giảng vào Tập bài thực hành Viết (Writing Portfolio).
Thời điểm nộp: Trong vòng 01 tuần kể từ khi kết thúc buổi học cuối cùng của khóa học. |
Sản phẩm của Dự án Viết (Writing Portfolio): gồm ít nhất 02 phiên bản cho mỗi bài viết: Phiên bản đầu (Original Version) và Phiên bản chỉnh sửa (Edited Version: là phiên bản học sinh phải hoàn thiện lại sau khi được giáo viên / trợ giảng sửa và góp ý). Trong quá trình học, cuối mỗi Unit (Lesson G), học sinh nộp lại Phiên bản đầu cho giáo viên để được sửa, góp ý trước khi hoàn thiện. Trung bình mỗi cấp (Level) có 05 bài viết.
Giáo viên đánh giá Writing Portfolio (theo Tiêu chí) và tổng hợp điểm, báo cáo kết quả (kèm tất cả các Writing Portfolio của học sinh trong lớp) cho bộ phận quản lý chất lượng đào tạo trong vòng 02 tuần kể từ khi kết thúc buổi dạy cuối cùng. |
A4. Thi Nói cuối kỳ (Oral Tests) |

Thi nói vấn đáp: Học sinh thi vấn đáp theo định dạng Cambridge.
Nội dung vấn đáp: Các chủ đề được học trong chương trình. |
Thời điểm thi: Trong vòng 01 tuần kể từ khi kết thúc buổi học cuối cùng.
Giám khảo: Giáo viên khác lớp. Điểm thi được công bố ngay cho từng thí sinh sau khi kết thúc bài thi.
Giám khảo tổng hợp điểm và báo cáo bộ phận quản lý chất lượng ngay sau khi kết thúc buổi thi. |
Trách nhiệm tổ chức thi, kiểm tra đánh giá kết quả cuối năm
- Sở GD-ĐT chỉ đạo và điều hành; Nhà trường và giáo viên thực hiện
- Đề thi nói có thể được đơn vị tài trợ (Top Grade Education) hỗ trợ; Sở GD-ĐT chỉ đạo điều hành công tác duyệt đề, bảo mật, nhân bản, chuẩn bị điểm thi-cơ sở vật chất, lên lịch thi, phân công giám khảo / cán bộ coi thi và tổ chức thi / chấm thi…
- Kết quả thi được gửi đến bộ phận quản lý chất lượng độc lập và quản lý của Sở.

Bộ phận đảm bảo chất lượng có trách nhiệm tham mưu và phối hợp với Sở GD-ĐT lên kế hoạch, chuẩn bị, thông báo chi tiết cho giáo viên, học sinh chậm nhất 03 tuần trước buổi học cuối cùng.
10. Student Responsibilities (Trách nhiệm học
sinh / Chính sách khóa học)
For this course, students are required to:
- attend classes regularly and actively participate in class activities (No more than 03 absences or 10% of course hours skipped)(Không vắng quá 03 buổi học tại lớp);
- regularly complete tasks and exercises on LMS (online) system (recommended 30 minutes per weekday; no more than 03 days without studying on the LMS – except for national holidays and summer holidays)(tối thiểu 30 phút học trên hệ thống hàng ngày (trừ cuối tuần và ngày lễ); Không vi phạm quá 03 ngày không học trên hệ thống).
