The term "Photoshop" is not a standalone name for an image-editing program, but it is the standard name for this program, as most people are familiar with it.

Photoshop has applications for doing the following:

* **Create raster images.** Photoshop is a raster editor, which means it manipulates images composed of individual dots of color called pixels. Adobe offers the option of using RAW files, which contain no image data other than that of the color spectrum, and the ability to adjust the RAW image in Photoshop; or you can use a pre-existing image, whether digital or film-based, for editing.
* **Create and alter filters.** You can apply and alter filters to either color or grayscale images.
* **Create and save layers for further usage.** Layers enable you to collect and organize image elements (lines, shapes, and colors) that you want to keep in your photo. You can easily switch back and forth between layers. Photoshop's Layers panel is the place where you select and organize your layers.

* **Scratch out, copy, and paste images or blocks of color.** You can use the Scratch Out or Edit Modes to delete or combine pixels. You can copy images and color data from one photo to another.
* **Correct color shifts.** Color shifts are created by erroneous differences in the hue, saturation, and brightness of one photo compared to another.
* **Edit brightness, contrast, and shadows and highlights.** You can sharpen or blur objects and create or edit skin tones.
* **Correct perspective.** If you've ever held a camera up and tried to frame an image in a way that the objects in the photo seemed to look different than they actually did, Photoshop is the place to correct that perspective. You can use the Grid to align objects in your photo and move them into place.

## Adobe Camera Raw

The Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) application, also available for Mac and Windows, is a plug-in for the Adobe Photoshop application. It is a separate application that is used to import and calibrate JPEG and RAW files.

How to use Photoshop Elements

1. Opening files

In Photoshop Elements 2019, files are opened in the main window, which is the familiar File>Open dialog.

However, you can also click on a file or the folder icon in the side panel of the main window, and Photoshop Elements 2019 will open the file into the image view, as shown in the example above.

The image view has a slightly different layout from that of the main window.

You see a zoom bar at the top of the image, and there is a full screen mode button on the side as well.

To exit the image view, simply click anywhere in the image view.

2. File tabs

Clicking on the icon of the image window in the main window will show a row of icons representing your images.

You can also open the images in the side panel, but you will just see the icons of the images, instead of the tabs.

3. Adjusting the image window size

Your main image window can be set to a specific width and height, allowing you to edit the image at an optimal size.

Alternatively, you can change the height and width directly by clicking on the Size button near the corner of the window.

The Width and Height controls will also be found above the image view, and the value will be shown for each dimension in pixel.

4. Real-time preview

The real-time preview is a powerful tool that can show you what the image will look like when you save the image.

When you make changes, the preview will update in real time, just like in Photoshop.

5. Useful Tools

Photoshop Elements has a number of useful tools and utilities.

That’s a very generic question: and there are plenty of ways to answer that. But the most relevant way would probably be to look at your actions through the lens of what you’re trying to accomplish with your current business, and what that has meant to you personally.

There was also that whole money laundering thing from HSBC where the chief financial officer was convicted for it, and they had to pay him $1.9 million. There was also that Mexican cartels that were using HSBC as a money laundering pipeline. I believe that the CEO was also fined.

I will be the first to admit I have never been a big fan of politicians. But, I have to admit I am tired of the on and off again bickering that is taking place between Obama and Romney. At least in the last Presidential election between Clinton and Gore they ended up choosing the lesser of two evils and agreed to let the Vice President take over.

So for the many times that the Republicans and Democrats have agreed to take less than 50% of the blame for something, they should just step aside for the next election. Maybe then the next President can work together. That can't happen during a Presidential election of course but certainly after that it needs to be done.

Well, regardless the president and congress need to work together to get the problems solved. Not only for today, but also for tomorrow and the problems become way too big if not addressed. I mean problems like bringing out of retirement old bad drivers like Obama. Who loves that?

I can't stop thinking about the "feast" they held at the big city university. I have never seen the article where the president of the school was complaining about the financial problems they are having and the losses they were experiencing. The school just finished their "restructuring". Interesting how that word means so many different things to people. I don't get the deep background info you have about this, but my gut instinct tells me that some of these guys are pulling a scam. If I didn't know the really big names there, I would be very suspicious of who all attended.

That's why I'm running. To vote people in office that are accountable, that don't accept special treatment, that aren't corrupt.
