NEW/EXPERIENCED USERS of Photoshop need not live in fear of a black screen. There are tools available to help you learn how to use the program. These include tutorials, books, online forums, and an international community of Photoshop users known as the Photographic Society of America (see the nearby sidebar), and new features are added often.

To start, Photoshop CS6 has a new user interface that makes it easier to create, edit, and organize your image. It also now has new features to make working with photos easier and faster.

Photoshop features a very large color library. The standard RGB color space covers roughly 90 percent of the colors that can be found in the visible spectrum. It also has a CMYK color space that more closely represents the colors in printed or printed-like materials. New in CS6 are also OSA (Ordered Subset Algorithm) and Lab color spaces, which are used to view and work with color in a more traditional way.

Adobe has also enhanced the speed with which images are created, how fast and easy they are to work with, and how easy they are to edit.

In Photoshop CS6, you can work faster, by increasing the efficiency of your computer, with faster processing speeds and more RAM. These speedups make it easier to bring a project to completion, even with multiple layers. CS6 also has a new settings window, a different navigation system, and auto-save capabilities that make the program easier to use and manage.

Despite these new features, not everything has changed. Photoshop CS6 has more icons and an improved workspace. Most of the other Photoshop tools remain the same or are improved. For example, the Healing Brush Tool has become much easier to use with features such as feathering. The Annotate tab has been consolidated into the Canvas tab and better integrates with the Layers palette. You can use the Quick Mask tool to quickly turn an area of an image into a mask.

Though Photoshop CS6 is available in both Windows and Mac versions, some features are only available on one or the other. For example, You can open and save files in the Portable Document Format (PDF) only in Windows or only in Mac. You can use Photoshop CS6 on both platforms but must pay for both versions to work on both computers.

The Eraser allows you to remove selections, area, or pixels from an image. Here's how you use it: hold down the Alt key, and then click and drag over what you want to erase.

The Free Transform tool allows you to move, scale, and rotate layers, objects, or groups of objects on your design. The tool is often used for creating vector graphics.

The Pathfinder allows you to combine, subtract, and add selections. Use the tool to select an area, then click the Add (+) button to add the selection to another area.

The Lasso tool allows you to draw a selection on your design, as well as edit or remove selected parts from your design. Here's how you use it: hold down the Ctrl key, and then click and drag over what you want to select.

One of the most crucial, but often neglected components of software is its documentation. By this, we mean a. The written documentation describing the operation of the software; b. The manual (or user’s guide or help manual) which should be included as a part of the software package and c. An additional one or two online resources, such as a knowledge base or FAQ.

In this article, I am going to share some of the practices and best practices that can be used in order to make it easier to develop documentation for the software.

The key idea behind all of these ideas is that software should be extremely easy for users to use and understand. In order to achieve that, the documentation should be clear and concise.

Why is it important to have documentation?

In general, software developers don’t put a lot of effort and focus to make software really easy to use. It is their job, after all. Most of the time, there are significant unknowns (such as new features) which are not documented properly and this leads to software being unnecessarily complicated.

A good documentation reduces the additional costs of fixing bugs (which results in revenue loss) and of supporting legacy features. It reduces unnecessary support requests which eventually result in lost development and maintenance time. By doing all of this, the quality of software is increased and users are happier with the software.

How to make documentation useful?

The following points will help you to make documentation easy and useful.

1. Use of simple language

The aim is to make documentation easy to understand for users and non-technical people. Your users will be familiar with the English language. You want your documentation to be easy to read, understand and reproduce.

So, it is important to use the simplest language that can be used to achieve that. Simply put, keep your documentation simple.

2. Use of simple sentences

If the documentation doesn’t use simple sentences, you are losing the opportunity of correctly conveying the idea to the reader.

3. Use of active voice

This refers to the use of phrases, which are written in the active voice rather than the passive voice.

For example, instead of saying “The user clicks on a file”, it should be “The user
