I have Combo Doctor 10 and I am using it for only 3 weeks now. I like the new structure and what it has been added. The features of defense+ are big plus. It has four levels of security and I recommend everyone to check it out.You aren't using a correct driver for your graphics card, the problem you are having is due to "xinerama", it's a feature, in part of xorg that enables monitors to use two outputs to show the same image from different perspectives. I think in such cases Xinerama isn't used, so it's acting up as something else is in use.

Xinerama doesn't use different outputs, but it is just an extension of the Xorg driver and it enables you to not only change your graphic card between monitors but also move the windows around between the monitors without having to move them on the screen.

You can try to disable it but I would really recommend you to install the nvidia drivers it is all detailed in the readme that comes with the installation package, the nvidia-setting manager doesn't support this feature so you should use the nvidia-xconfig tool that comes with nvidia-drivers.

Notes:1. You won't need to have two screens for a dual monitor configuration, just one of them.2. If you use xinerama, it will use the monitor that is on the right and the bottom of the screen (monitor 2 in your configuration), the monitor that is on the left and the top of the screen (monitor 1 in your configuration) will be disabled. This is because Xinerama works this way, but don't change it unless you know what you are doing.3. The Xinerama configuration must be written before you use xorg with the nvidia proprietary drivers, if you use Xorg 6.9.99 or later you will need to use nvidia-xconfig or xorg 7.0 or later.
